Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PnlShip website, apps and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including that of members and accountants you invite.

Subscriptions, trials and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise.

Connected accounts

When you connect a bank, card or accounting system you authorize us and our providers (such as Plaid, GoCardless, QuickBooks and Xero) to access the data you choose. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.

Not financial, tax or legal advice

PnlShip organizes and analyzes your financial data, including with AI. Categorizations, insights, reports and AI output may contain errors and are not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. Review them and consult a qualified professional before relying on them.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no accessing data you aren’t authorized to access, no interfering with or reverse-engineering the Service, and no sending invoices or messages that are fraudulent or abusive.

Your data

You own your data. You grant us the rights needed to host, process and display it to provide the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or non-payment. Some data may be deleted after an account lapses, as described in the app.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PnlShip will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app.
